A Ford Cargo Truck Is Transformed Into An Incredible Custom RV

Over in Colorado, Randy Berry of Tiny House RV’s has built a sweet-looking and very compact home on top of a 2009 Ford E-350. The truck runs on gas, but the house is powered by 500 watts of solar. With a thermostat-controlled direct vent propane heater, double pane windows and rigid foam insulation in the walls and floor, the interior’s certainly going to stay warm enough. Showers, which are outdoors, might get a little chilly in the winter, but do benefit from the on-demand propane water heater which also serves the kitchen sink. There’s an RV-style toilet in an enclosed bathroom inside and a 40 gallon freshwater tank to feed everything.

Randy’s selling the vehicle, price negotiable, so get in touch via his website or by email if you’re interested. (A seasoned carpenter and former middle school teacher, he also offers consulting services and building assistance if you want to give something like this a try but aren’t sure you’ve got the skills to go it alone.)
