Judging by the rural surroundings and bright green exterior, you’d never imagine what the inside of this caravan holds. But step inside and you’re transported into a surprisingly stylish abode. The traditional Vardo or “Gypsy Wagon” was seen as a high point in cultural and aesthetic design centuries ago, and this modern interpretation certainly reflects that with its bohemian chic decorative influence. The interior is draped in bright turquoise, orange, and red colors, offset by warm wood and stately decor that could make any guest feel like royalty.
The simply appointed space includes a lounge area, bed, and a washroom. As one of several lodgings available at La Bastide de Marie, guests have access to dining and other amenities on the property, so a kitchen isn’t needed. Frankly, if you’re staying here, you should be relaxing in bed and ordering room service!
