192 Sq. Foot “Backyard Bunkie” Offers Guests A Private Escape In The Appalachian Mountains

The rise in popularity of sites like Airbnb has given many people the chance to earn some extra income by renting their home, and lately we’ve seen more and more small/tiny houses available, like this “Backyard Bunkie” in North Carolina for example. The owners moved from California to North Carolina, and settled into an old house on a large forested property with a dramatic view of the surrounding Appalachian mountain landscape. They wanted to share this beautiful experience with others, and after finishing remodeling their old home they set to work building two small guest houses on the hilltop.
