Chattanooga, Tennessee, builder Wind River Tiny Homes just sent their latest build, the Phoenix, on its way to its new home in San Francisco. They haven’t released much information about it yet, but they posted the following photos (and a lot more) on their Facebook page, so let’s take a short walkthrough…
The charred cedar siding (Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi in Japanese) is fire- and pest resistant. Be the first to spot it in your state, take a pic, tag it with #windriverroadtrip and you win a free Wind River T-shirt.
The window-rich area in the rear will make a great sitting area.
From there you pass into the kitchen – and laundry room; note the small washing machine under the cabinet.
Through the door to the bathroom, with industrial-looking exposed pipes and a nice basin sink.
And up the stairs…
