Simple Charm Defines The 75 Year Old Woodstock Cottage

After the vinyl siding and asphalt shingles it might be unexpected, but once you step inside it’s unmistakable: this Woodstock, New York, cottage has seen more than a few years go by. In fact, it’s three-quarters of a century old and recently renovated by an architect who obviously aimed for practicality on the outside but did a masterful job of keeping the old-fashioned charm of the interior. With a kitchen and bathroom, sitting room, dining nook, and sleeping loft, the cottage easily accommodates a couple, and there’s a sofa bed in case you want to bring a child along. It’s located on a private lot a short walk from town and rents for $150 a night on Airbnb.
